"Every Time a Bell Rings, An Angel Gets Its Wings"
Carillon. we managed to pull off a decent performance. the bells didn't lose their magic! (: though i really bdoubt any of them read this, i'd like to congratulate and thank the current choir for their effort, and i must say i'm really proud to be part of the alumni - the resonance ringers! it felt good to be back to play, ringing with much less baggage than before.. yeah maybe that was why we were able to be more focused and engaged in our music, like what mrs deborah tan said. but i realised that i miss ringing, more so than i thought.. and the ringers! very much.

handbell ringing is a collective effort. must remember that whatever you do, you do it together. when shit happens (and really it does), you’re in it together; when something good happens, share it with the others.
watching them, nostalgia just started to overflow. last-minute rushes before the concert, stressing really badly, pre-concert butterflies in the stomach, post-concert highs and euphoria. memories.

and the past week i'd been attending the onedegreeasia youth leaders conference at SMU.


maybe it would suffice to say that i would rather have stayed in school. well some parts of onedegree were relevant, and really really insightful… but not enough to convince me that the hefty fee was worth it. okay let's just put it as that i really missed everyone at school! and it was IHC week! so much i missed out on! can’t wait to return on monday, but on the other hand i don’t wanna face the heapful of WORK. ohwell.

prior to onedegree, there was IHC rockclimbing last monday. at rg. i haven't climbed in eons and i'm really itching to ): ohyes good luck to everyone taking part in national climbing competiton, uhh tomorrow! (:

even before that.. was tapestry2006. which was quite a lot of fun, i really wish i had time to help out more. and last sunday we took part in the SMRT challenge! I it was, for the lack of a more appropriate word (or because i only slept 3.5 hours last night and can’t really think now), SUPER FUN(: if you averaged out the timings we were probably like the 11th/12th team. which got us pretty pissed off because the top10 had prizes. haha. and which also left my dear teammates whining/bitching (think: SHAWN TAN) the whole journey home about how we should be the rightful winners of the challenge. though uh we didn’t exactly play by the book either heh xP
