friends are love!
just got off the phone with james. !!! i miss james and his olduncle-ness and sianess.
the weekend was nice.
friday evening; met hui and yihui for DA CAN to celebrate the receipt of our 1st paycheck (not in the sense of my first-ever-salary-received, but the first time it came as a paycheck. heh.) dinner was at OUT OF THE PAN, the crepes place at the basement of rafflescity. we met so many exclass/schoolmates during our outing. twas like a huge rjc gathering. anyways. after dinner we adjourned for dessert at the much coveted AZABU SABO for japanese dessert. talk about eating hearty :D and all these while i had a really sore throat and really should be eating porridge within the comforts of my home. heh the things kelly does for friends and food :D
(it was a heck of a sore throat though. felt so socially deprived cos i couldn't TALK without scaring people with my coarse voice)
saturday; the morning was for various errands. visited several libraries to leave copies of D-ACT'08 posters. the afternoon was for climbing. it's been so long! climbing is something that always induces a myriad of emotions within me. the before would be filled with excitement and apprehension. the after would be either euphoria or disappointment. but i love it nonetheless. this time round the after was the former, topped with the pride of being amongst such a huge and supporting group of people that day(: after climbing we had a late dinner of punggol nasi lemak and munchy donuts. heh finally.
and gavan said, until you conquer punks in the gym, there's always room for improvement. which i thought was really true.
sunday; time with whom i would consider the 2 people closest to me. and for dinner evening i treated my family to fish & co! so many holes in my pocket now. and 5k+ will fall through them into the switzerland&italy trip with my girlfriends :D ohwell. let's just go ahead and be crazy this one time :D
and so the results are gonna be released this friday. everything above now seems like "the calm before the storm". well, come what may...
i have a climbing date with licui in the morning on that fateful day. my fingers will shiver against the handholds.
